The 2010 Season

Please come visit us for a week or two, a month or two, or the entire summer!

We are now accepting applications for seasonal sites for 2010, and will begin accepting reservations for weekly-minimum sites with a February 1 postmark.

If you are interested in a seasonal site, please contact us by e-mail, mail or phone so that we can send an informational packet.  We have availability for seasonal sites in all areas of the campground, except the North, South and Rocky Bluffs.

If you are interested in a weekly-minimum reservation to stay anywhere from a week to two months, please send us your mailing address either by phone call, e-mail or USPS mail, and we will send out the annual information packet.  It includes a reservation form so that you can be ready to submit a request beginning with a February 1 postmark by USPS mail.

All sites have full hookups of water, electric and sewer hookups and will be restricted to self-contained camping units with full working bathrooms. We no longer accept tents or pop-up campers.

We have changed our focus to seasonal camping, but two North Bluff sites -- 43A and 45 -- with full hookups of water, electric and sewer are available for weekly-minimum stays by advance reservation only for self-contained vehicles. Please see the Rates page for our current rates.

Additional full hookup sites, with and without water views, may become available for weekly or monthly stays on Midship and Starboard roads, depending upon demand.

The weekly-minimum sites will be available for Saturday arrivals and departures in 2010 between mid-June and mid-September.  All reservations must be made in advance. The required deposit will be equivalent to the weekly rate.  The state lodging tax will be due upon arrival.

A reservation deposit must be submitted via a check or money order through the USPS mail, beginning with a Feb. 1 USPS postmark.  We do NOT accept credit cards for reservations. Please, do not send credit card information. Do NOT send cash.

When registering at the office upon check-in, we will accept the following forms of payment for the balance due on the site: cash, traveler's checks, or a personal check from one of the six New England states, provided you have a driver's license for identification that matches the information on the check.  We define the six New England states as Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

2010 Deposit Amounts

$280.00 per week for North Bluff sites 43A and 45.
$175.00 per week for full hookup sites with no view;
$189.00 per week for full hookup sites with water view.

Please inquire in advance regarding availability and deposits for monthly stays before sending reservation request.

Refunds & Fees

Refunds of deposits for weekly stays require four weeks' notice prior to arrival date, minus a $25.00  bookkeeping fee. There will be no refund of any payments after arrival.

Seasonal sites require deposits totalling $700.  The deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Any additional balances are refundable -- up to June 30 -- with seven-days' notice prior to departure and are pro-rated using weekly rates according to the time elapsed between May 15 and the departure date, plus lodging tax.  There will be no refunds of any seasonal payments after June 30.

A $25.00 fee will be charged for checks returned unpaid by the bank.  We do not redeposit checks returned unpaid by the bank.  You must submit a money order for the amount of the unpaid check plus the $25.00 fee.

Restrictions and Details

All sites now include water, electric and sewer hookups.

All sites are strictly limited to one family, one vehicle and one dog. By one family, we mean two adults and their children 18 years of age and younger. Extra adults in the same extended family may be allowed with approval in advance at $15.00 per person per night as long as they are traveling in the same vehicle and staying in the same camping unit for the same time period as the rest of the family. Additional fees, charges or sites apply in all other situations. We do not accept overnight visitors, so the family must be traveling together.

We allow one dog per site, with the following conditions: All dogs of any size or age must be on a leash with an adult at all times. Leashes must be shortened to 6-feet when walking around campsites. Longer leashes are only allowed in specified dog walking areas. Dogs must be accompanied by an owner at all times, which means dogs cannot be left alone in camping units when owners leave the campground property. Dogs are allowed in specified areas of the campground waterfront.  There are a variety of dog day care options available in the area if owners are unable to take the dog with on outings. We can provide names and contact information ahead of time as most require reservations in advance.  Dogs are expected to be generally quiet. Owners are expected to prompty clean up dog waste and dispose of it in plastic bags in the trash. It is not acceptable to leave dog waste in the bushes or wooded areas.

Day visitors for weekly-minimum campers may visit between 9 AM and 9 PM with two exceptions: no visitors are allowed on any Saturdays, nor are they allowed on Sundays of three-day holiday weekends. We can provide you with a local map with locations available for get-togethers away from the campground.

Seasonal sites have different rules regarding day and overnight visitors.  The details are available upon request with an informational packet including seasonal rules.

We do not accept day visitors with dogs. They must be left at home, or we can give you the name of a local pet sitter so that arrangements can be made in advance.

Campers may check in anytime after 11 AM. No early arrivals, please.
Campers must check out by 10 AM.

* Prices and rules are subject to change without notice.
